Datum does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It does not require an account.

Datum reads and writes audio metadata only in the files you explicitly open, and only saves when you choose to.

On macOS, the optional “Discogs” feature sends a single anonymous request to https://www.discogs.com to fetch public album information (artist, title, tracklist, cover art) for a release you select. This request uses a generic browser user-agent and includes no account, login, or identifying information. Datum stores no Discogs credentials or tokens.
